Why invest?
You can acquire Legrand shares:
- on favorable terms,
- from just one share.
What is an Employee Share Plan?
It is a scheme enabling employees to invest in their company’s shares on favorable terms.
Why is my company offering me this deal?
Legrand wishes to further increase your involvement, as an employee, in the future of the Group.
The employee share plan will enable you to become a shareholder in the Group, on favorable terms.
Beyond the financial opportunity, this initiative symbolizes our collective vision of the future and recognition of the commitment of each and every one of you.
Benefits of the plan
Your investment mirrors the Legrand share price, and the following benefits help you limit the risks if the share price falls while increasing your profit if it rises.
- 20% discount on the reference price of the share
- +
- Up to €600 from Legrand on top of your personal contribution*
- +
- Potential dividends
*Your investment may be rounded down to the nearest whole number of Legrand shares.
Who can sign up?
- All employees (permanent, fixed-term, work-study) with at least 3 months of employment in a Legrand Group company that is a member of the Plan d’Epargne Groupe International (PEGI or International Group Savings Plan), continuously or discontinuously, between January 1, 2023 and April 2, 2024 (last day of the subscription period), and who are still on the payroll on that day.
Please note
Your investment is locked for 5 years, i.e. until May 14, 2029.
There are however rules of early release allowing you to dispose of your shares before the end of the lock-up period.
There is also a foreign exchange risk. As the Legrand share is listed in Euros on the Paris Stock Exchange, the value of your investment during the term thereof will vary based on fluctuations in the exchange rate between the Euro and your currency. This means that if the Euro gains in value against your currency, the value of the shares in your currency will rise. Conversely, if the Euro loses in value against your currency, the value of the shares in your currency will fall.
For further details, in particular on rules of early release and taxation of the plan, please refer to the local supplement specific to your country, available in the “Documentation” section.
